Hue's first boutique hotel, La Residence Hotel & Spa opened in 2005 and is a welcome addition to a city that has gone without luxury accommodation since the last Emperor lost his job. Once the residence of the French Governor of Central Vietnam, the hotel is a graceful art deco mansion nestled on the banks of the Perfume River.

In addition to all of the things you would expect from a five-star hotel, you will also enjoy an impressive restaurant, a 30-meter swimming pool, spa, fitness center and tennis courts.

We use River-View Rooms if you travel on our Hue & Hoi An package. From your private terrace you will have views of the Imperial Citadel on the opposite side of the river.  Deluxe rooms and suites are also available at an additional cost.  

We have worked with La Residence since 2006. Like all of the hotels Purple Dragon uses, La Residence is gay -friendly. You do not have to be gay to enjoy our travel programs. We have a growing number of mainstream customers who know they will get superior service and quality from a gay company.
